We absolutely love being creative and coming up with new, innovative ideas to aid children's development. Here is our 'Messy Swing Set' that we created to invite the children to explore something new, something messy and something incredibly fun!

This morning our little ones have put on their protective clothes and eyewear and set to work to make a GREAT BIG mess!
Following our ‘Dinosaur Footprints’ activity, we decided to further experiment with different ways of creating marks.
Using only string, backing paper and loose parts resources, we created our very own

Messy Swing Set!
We covered our toys in paint and enjoyed testing out different methods using some of our every day nursery resources:
✨ The little ones began using their hands to physically swing the resources.
✨ They used wooden sticks to bat the resources which created lovely splatter marks against the paper.
✨ They also decided to use loose resources such as paintbrushes and sponges to manually make marks on the paper.
It was lovely to sit back and watch the children just have so much fun with this activity. ❤️
